Welcome

I am an assistant professor at the department of mathematics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am a memeber of differential equations and applied mathematics group.

Previously, I was a CLE Moore instructor in the department of mathematics at MIT. I obtained my PhD in 2006 under Walter Strauss in mathematics at Brown University.

My research focusses on the analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations which arises in physical contexts. In particular, I have interests in mathematical aspects of surface water waves and related moving boundary problems. Here are papers and preprints.

In the fall of 2011, I teach MATH 553: Partial Differential Equations.
