Homework will be assigned every Tuesday and it will be due by midnight the following Tuesday. There will be quizzes every Thursday at the end of the class.

Homework	Tuesday, by midnight	50%
Quizzes	Thursday, in class, 10 minutes	10%
Test 1	TBA, in class, 50 minutes	20%
Final Exam Information	12/16/2010, 1:30-4:30pm, IH-24	20%

You may not use books, notes, or electronic devices during the tests or exam.
Make up tests will be given only if you present written evidence, as soon as possible, that you did (or will have to) miss an exam for a legitimate reason, e.g. illness or family emergency. Travel and leisure plans are never a legitimate reason. Late homework will be accepted only if you get an extension from me.

I will use the following grading scale:

Grade	Percentage
A	90%-100%
B	80%-90%
C	70%-80%
D	60%-70%
F	0%-60%

The grade for MATH 290 will be based only on the homework score.
