Do #1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 21, 22 from 1.3. For practice only, do the quiz #1 handout. Learn how to make a table of values on your calculator. For the TI-82 and TI-83 calculators, you enter a function using the [ Y= ] button, set-up a table with the [ 2nd ] - [ TBLSET ] button, and then display your table of values with the [ 2nd ] - [ TABLE ] button. The TI-85 cannot generate tables, so you will have to make your tables by hand. The TI-86 can do tables, but you'll have to look in your manual to see how to do this. |
