Following the Graduate Student Conference, the Illinois Number Theory conference, in memory of Paul and Felice Bateman and Heini Halberstam, will be held on June 5-7, 2014.
Plenary Speaker: Kevin Ford, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Registration and Financial Support
Registration is required to attend the conference: please complete the registration form. This conference is supported by funding from the Number Theory Foundation, the University of Illinois Department of Mathematics and the National Science Foundation. Limited funding is available for participating graduate students and postdocs. We ask that participants carpool to the meeting, if possible, to help us extend our travel budget as far as possible towards fully reimbursing everyone's expenses. If you would like to receive funding please indicate that on the registration form. The deadline for applying for support is March 15, 2014.
We have reserved blocks of rooms at Sherman Hall, a graduate residence hall. This is the most economical lodging option on campus. Sherman Hall is a University Residence Hall for graduate students and upper-division undergraduate students. The accommodations in Sherman Hall ($40 per night) will be a private room (shared bath) with pillow, mattress, blanket, towels, washcloths, and linens laid on bed, one desk, one chair, and a micro-fridge. If you are staying for the Bateman-Halberstam conference, you may indicate that on your housing reservation form and do not need to sign up for housing separately for that conference. Reservations: To reserve a room at Sherman Hall, fill out the Housing Reservation Form by May 15, 2014.
Conference Food Survey
If you are attending the conference, please fill out the Food Survey by May 15, 2014.
The deadline for requesting a slot for a talk and submitting an abstract is March 15, 2014 (go to registration form). You will be notified of our decision by April 15, 2014.
