Registration for Spring 2010
Registration for Spring 2010 will begin on November 2. All students received an email message to their campus email address with information about registration. The following link will give you details on when students can view their time ticket for fall registration and when groups of students are authorized to register.

Changes in Curricula
You may not change to another major in LAS after October 30, however if you are switching to the undecided/undeclared major in the Division of General Studies, you can transfer from October 12 – November 20. If you are leaving the College of LAS, go to the new college for permission to enter. If you wish to change curricula within the Mathematics Department, see
Rick Gorvett for Actuarial Science or
Joseph Miles for Mathematics.
Admission to Teacher Education curricula is by application; applications will be accepted at the beginning of each Spring semester for entry the following Fall,

General Education, etc.
All students are responsible for fulfilling the Foreign Language, Composition, and General Education requirements of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as well as University General Education requirements. Students in the Teacher Education Option must satisfy the general education requirements of LAS and take a speech performance course. You may check your progress in completing all requirements at http://www.registrar.illinois.edu/dars/generate.html
Advising for Mathematics Majors
Each Mathematics major is assigned a specific faculty member as an advisor. Students will be informed of their advisors and how to make an appointment by electronic mail to their university email addresses. Juniors in Mathematics are required to fill out a Major Plan of Study. Holds may be placed on the registration of some students and must be resolved before registering.
