Dissertation Completion Fellowships

Fellowships are available for graduate students in their final year before graduation to support the completion of the thesis and the launching of the research career. The fellowship provides an 11-month stipend of $25,000, the same tuition and fee waiver and all other benefits provided by a 50%-time Research Assistantship. No concurrent assistantship appointment is permitted with the Dissertation Completion Fellowship.

Evaluation criteria

The fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis. The main criteria to be considered are (1) the quality of research and scholarship in your dissertation, and (2) the likelihood of completion within the next two academic years.

If you wish to be considered for a 2012-13 REGS3 Fellowship, please arrange that the Graduate Office receives:

All application material (including letters of recommendation) must be received no later than Friday, April 6, 2012.
